a great childhood

The West Virginia Children's Trust Fund raises money for innovative programs in communities all over the state that help keep children free from abuse and neglect. When you contribute a small or large amount you've done your part to help West Virginia children.

22 hospitals and local partners are implementing the Say YES to Safe Sleep Program to help keep infants safe while they are sleeping.

Over 152,000 materials promoting safe sleep and shaken baby prevention were distributed to families statewide.

44 local “Partners in Prevention” grants were awarded in 44 WV counties.

More than 83,000 WV parents, children, professionals and community members received face-to-face support or training through these grants.

More than 74,000 educational materials made it into the hands of parents, professionals and the public from Partners in Prevention Teams.

The WV Circle of Parents Network grew to 34 groups during the past year.

Child Abuse Prevention Month activities were conducted throughout the state.

Various child abuse prevention trainings on topics including Strengthening Families, Mandated Reporter Training, Safe Sleep and Shaken Baby prevention were provided.

And most importantly, your support means happier childhoods for West Virginia children
